Slovakia
Slovakia beat San Marino and Wales before the start of Euro 2024 (4:0 in both cases). Belgium in the first game were a much stronger opponent. Only VAR saved Slovakia from conceding a couple of goals (1:0). Belgium had 1.97 xG, while Slovakia only had 0.58 xG and 4 attempts on target. Slovakia will build their game on defence once again.
Ukraine
The defeat Ukraine suffered from Romania was painful. Ukraine had a better ball possession (66-34), more shots (14-10) but only 0.55 xG. Ukraine should get rid of individual mistakes. Mudryk, Tsyhankov, and Dovbyk should show their real level and score at least a goal. The Slovak defence wasn’t perfect in the previous game.
