Spain
Spain have destroyed the defensive lines of Andorra (5:0) and Northern Ireland (5:1) in the friendly games played in June. The side is extremely motivated. The coaches will have to think to pick the starting XI. I believe de la Fuente has already chosen Rodri, Pedri and Ruiz. Morata will be assisted by Oyarzabal, Williams, Yamal and Joselu, depending on a situation. Spain have a very strong offensive line. The side scored 25 goals in the qualifying group in the games versus Scotland, Norway, Georgia and Cyprus.
Croatia
Croatia were about to miss Euro 2024 and Dalič was on the verge of being sacked after Croatia had lost twice in October: Turkey (0:1) and Wales (1:2). Modrič and the others managed to deal with the situation and Croatia is going to take part in the 4th big tournament. Despite reaching the World Cup semi-finals on 2 consecutive occasions (in the first case, even reaching final), Croatia have only managed to reach Euro quarter-finals. The side wasn’t lucky enough with a draw, as their group is very tough.

Winning the 2023 UEFA Nations League can’t be compared to 3 European Championship titles. The last time that Spain won the trophy was in 2012. Now they’re one of the favourites.
