The result of the final round of the Nations League group stage carries no significance for Spain and Switzerland. The reigning champions are advancing to the playoffs, while the Swiss side are relegated to League B, having failed to bounce back after starting with three consecutive defeats.
Spain
On Friday, the Spain national team defeated Denmark away (2:1), thanks to contributions from reserve players Mikel Oyarzabal and Ayoze Pérez, with the Real Betis midfielder recording 1+1. Luis De la Fuente has confidence in his entire squad, especially as the substitute players are eager to make their mark in the starting lineup, generating 1.79 xG while allowing just 0.64 xGA. However, Spain are unlikely to overexert their players, particularly those still engaged in their club seasons, opting for a measured performance in Tenerife.
Switzerland
