The visiting side, newcomers to the Segunda, have boldly established themselves as one of the biggest surprises in the championship. The team are playing bright, attacking football and are on the verge of entering the playoff zone for another promotion. Now they face a strong opponent in Sporting Gijón.

The home side have only been defeated once at their ground this season, losing to Levante (2:1) in the opening round, followed by a draw and two victories. Early in the season, the team have showcased great attacking play, failing to score in just two of their first eight fixtures. However, their defence has not been ideal, conceding at least one goal in six of their games, even against some of the less formidable teams. Tenerife, a clear underdog in the league, even managed to find the net against them.
Castellón
The visiting team primarily achieve results through their prowess in attack. Attention should be paid to Castellón's statistics in away games. In the first round, they were narrowly defeated by Eibar (1:0), but then registered three consecutive wins with a goal difference of 10:4. It's logical to assume that the visitors will not sit back defensively in this game, and we can expect an engaging encounter with both teams likely finding the back of the net.
