Adam Williams presents his prediction for the Xi'an Grand Prix snooker match.
Stuart Bingham
Stuart Bingham had a good start to the current season, winning several games in the Championship League, but then lost to Xing Zihao 1-5. He learned from his experience and won the next matches. First he beat Guoqiang 4:3. And already in Xi'an he beat amateur Zhou Jinhao 5:1 with a good game and several good breaks.
Jamie Jones
Jamie Jones had a bad start to this season and seriously needs to improve his game. Only one win out of six matches in the Championship League, then he lost to Haris Tahir 5:3 and Yuan Sijun 4:2. Jones arrived in China after beating Mostafa Dorgham 5:2, but in this match Jamie played well only in the first half, he often made mistakes and gave his opponent chances in every frame. Last season it was the same - Jones lost in the first round, but then reached the Crucible and got a lot of ranking points. But this season this may not happen.
Stuart Bingham - Jamie Jones Prediction
I don't see any arguments in favour of Jones here, I think Stuart will easily get to the next round if he doesn't create problems for himself. I suggest Bingham's victory with a handicap of 1.5 frames.
