This has been a recurring theme for Swansea City, who have been one of the league’s worst sides in terms of finishing. They have netted just 36 goals despite generating 50.19 xG. Burnley
Burnley have also been known for their low-scoring games but with a key difference: they rarely concede and consistently pick up points. They have only lost twice all season but have been held to an incredible 15 draws, which has prevented them from securing first place. Five of their last eight matches have finished with under 2.5 goals, reflecting their pragmatic approach.

While Burnley have occasionally secured big wins (such as 4:0 results), their defensive solidity is their key strength. Swansea have struggled to score all season, and Burnley’s well-drilled backline should make this another low-scoring encounter. The visitors are unlikely to lose, but a goal-fest seems out of the question.
