Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Championship match.
The match at Liberty Stadium is set for Sunday, which means both Swansea City and Leeds United will know how their rivals have fared. The visitors are part of the title race, making this even more crucial as they trail the leading pair by just two points.
Swansea City
It's unlikely we'll ever see scores like 2:2 or 3:2 in Swansea's matches. They play with a remarkably tight defence. The team have conceded slightly more than Leeds United in the first third of the season (10 to 9 goals). However, they haven't yet mastered scoring two goals as regularly as their opponents. With only 11 goals, they have the worst offensive record in the league. Their recent matches ended 1:0: a home win against Watford and an away defeat to Burnley.
Leeds United
When playing at Elland Road, the Yorkshire side tend to score more frequently—at least twice, if not three times, in their last five matches. They've only conceded once across those 450 minutes. On the road, Leeds' opponents have better chances for victory, but only Millwall capitalised on that opportunity in the 14th round (1:0). The Londoners, much like the Welsh side, also prefer to keep the game tight.
Swansea City vs Leeds United Prediction
This will be a match that could go any of three ways, but almost certainly, it will be decided by a single goal. Perhaps two at most, which is why our prediction is Total Under 2.5.
