Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Europa League match.
TSC
TSC are in the top three Serbian teams in terms of the way they play and their results. However, it’s definitely not enough to be on level terms with a Premier League side. TSC have conceded at least 2 goals in two games of the group stage, and 2 goals in 3 out of their 4 matches. The Serbian side is at the bottom of Group A. They will say goodbye to this tournament if they are defeated in this game.
West Ham
West Ham perform well again after a small decline. They have won 4 of their last 5 games in all tournaments, scoring at least twice in 4 of them. Interesting fact – the Hammers had 0,3 xG more than their opponents even in the game versus Brentford that was lost by West Ham (2:3). James Ward-Prowse plays perfectly well, he has the most attempts in the Europa League (18).
TSC - West Ham prediction
West Ham haven’t made significant changes in the squad for the Europa League. It’s understandable as they’re unlikely to win something in England but they can get a European trophy. The Hammers haven’t qualified for the play-offs yet, so they will let all the key players be on the pitch.
Considering this fact, I believe that the difference in the level of the teams will be crucial for the results of this game. And the Serbian side won’t be able to do anything.
