Adam Williams presents his prediction for the NBA match.
As the regular season winds down, the battle intensifies not just at the top, but also at the bottom of the standings — where teams quietly jostle for better draft positioning. The Utah Jazz appear to have embraced the tank, making this a prime opportunity for the Memphis Grizzlies to collect a straightforward win.
Utah Jazz
The Jazz’s intentions are as clear as ever. Lauri Markkanen remains out with an injury that has no clear explanation, and he’s joined in the treatment room by fellow top scorers John Collins and Jordan Clarkson. Unsurprisingly, the Jazz offence has ground to a halt. In three of their last five games, the team failed to reach the 100-point mark — including against the Chicago Bulls, one of the league’s weakest defensive teams.
Memphis Grizzlies
The Grizzlies aren’t without their own issues, winning five of their last 10, largely due to Ja Morant’s absence. Without him, their attack lacks creativity and firepower. But up against the Utah Jazz, that shouldn't be a major concern. The Jazz rank 29th in defensive rating and are shipping 119.8 points per game. The Grizzlies already proved their dominance in this matchup recently (128:115).
Utah Jazz vs Memphis Grizzlies Prediction
The Utah Jazz have struggled to score lately, failing to surpass 115 points in seven of their last ten games. The few exceptions were against fellow struggling teams such as the Toronto Raptors, the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Washington Wizards.
