Mboko’s main issue is her serve, as she has accumulated 39 double faults in her last 7 matches—a statistic that could hurt her against a top-tier player like Badosa.

Badosa is a highly experienced player who reached the pinnacle of the game, being ranked as high as world No. 2. Now ranked No. 11, she has a strong track record at Miami, winning her opening match at the last four Masters tournaments. Despite a recent injury layoff, Badosa has been dominant in 2025, winning 7 out of 10 matches in straight sets. She also reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open, showcasing her high level of play.

Mboko is still early in her career at the WTA level, and Badosa clearly outmatches her in both experience and class. Given the Spaniard’s form, it’s highly likely that she will comfortably win in straight sets.
