West Ham United will play their first home match under new manager Graham Potter, and the first in the Premier League. A win could potentially lift West Ham United from 14th place up a couple of spots.
West Ham United
Graham Potter’s debut came in a cup match against Aston Villa (1:2). Not the easiest of starts. This time, they conceded fewer than they did against Premier League powerhouses Liverpool (0:5) and Manchester City (1:4), but it was disappointing for West Ham that the Birmingham side turned the game around in just five minutes, scoring twice. This trend of West Ham United both scoring and conceding is prevalent, happening in seven of their last nine encounters.
Fulham
Fulham also entertained both their own and rival fans in the third round of the FA Cup, though, more so, their own, with a victory over Watford (4:1). Their first Premier League game of 2025 was also high-scoring: 2:2 against Ipswich Town. Fulham are capable of scoring against opponents of any level, as demonstrated in their matches with Arsenal (1:1), Liverpool (2:2), and Chelsea (2:1). Given West Ham’s porous defence, they are likely to score again.

It would be wise to bet not on total over or total under, considering Fulham play with variability, but on both teams to score. This scenario has played out in nine of their last ten games.
