Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the English Premier League match.
Wolverhampton Wanderers
The Wolves haven’t been impressive this season. They’ve been improving since the middle of December, though. They have won 5 out of the last 7 games, with the other two ending in draws. They have performed well in the home games, losing only 2 out of the last ten Premier League home games. Wolverhampton had 2.14 xG in the first head-to-head game this season, but failed to score, losing (0:1). They have a chance to strike back now.
Manchester United
The Red Devils have had only three games in January. The beat Wigan (2:0) and Newport County (4:2) in the FA Cup, ending their game versus Tottenham in a draw (2:2). There are many questions to the current head coach. He has conflicts with the players and keeps on making them to play the same football, although it’s obvious that it doesn’t really work. The Red Devils have taken only one point in the last 4 away games in the Premier League. Wolverhampton is a strong opponent, so Manchester United are unlikely to win.
Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Manchester United prediction
This has been a terrible season for Manchester United. They’re 8th, 8 points behind the top 5. And they’re lucky enough, as, according to statistics, they’re supposed to have even less points. The last time that Wolverhampton lost their home game was in September. They can avoid losing now, too.
