Before that, the team have eliminated Slovan Bratislava in UEFA Europa League qualifying (3:2 and 1:0). Chris Bedia has been outstanding in these games, delivering six goal involvements (5+1). His partnership with Christian Fassnacht, who has scored twice, is a genuine threat to opponents.
Panathinaikos
Panathinaikos have struggled at the start of the season. The team have recorded just one win in their last five matches, and that came in the Greek Cup against a second‑tier club. The main concern remains the defence. In their most recent match, Olympiacos registered nine shots and posted 1.04 xG. The opposition here are a level above.
