Super Sundays clash of the day, Newcastle vs Liverpool!
The Premier League 2019/20 season is drawing to a close and on Sunday, July 26th Liverpool are looking to break records. They have stuttered of late but can still equal the record for most wins in a season and also beat the record for the most wins in one season. That is IF they can beat Newcastle at St James Park. The game will be shown exclusively live at 12 pm (12:30 pm kick-off) on Saturday 14 September on BT Sport 1.
The last time these two met it was back in September and Liverpool walked away comfortable 3:1 winner. This time the odds are expecting a similar result with Liverpool heavily odds on to win.
Liverpool has been scoring goals for fun this Season and has scored 12 this month already, as it is the final game this Season and there are records to be broken we can't see Liverpool not scoring in this one. Newcastle, however, may well go out with a whimper, they have nothing to play for being certain of a mid-table finish no matter what, and of late they have scored just twice in the last four matches, against defenses far inferior to Liverpool's. Despite these odds that they won't both score is odds against and looks good value for what should be an Evens chance at best.
What’s the team news? Ahead of the game thigh injuries mean that Issac Hayden, Sean Longstaff, and Florian Lejeune will all be assessed prior to the game. Emil Krafth is doubtful due to an ankle problem. Newly crowned FWA Footballer of the Year Jordan Henderson remains out along with Joel Matip.

Newcastle vs Liverpool betting predictions and tips
The result of this game really depends on which Liverpool team turns up. Will it be title-winning Champions looking to end on a high and seal a few more records for this record-breaking Season, or will it be 11 men who already have one eye on the beach. What we are confident of is that no matter what Liverpool are going to score, it is just a question of how many.
With Liverpool scoring an average of 2.21 goals a game this Season, over 1.5 goals in the game looks almost certain. We also can't see past a Liverpool win, the odds are low, but still just last month they would have been lower, Liverpools stutter towards the end has pushed them out so it is now valued again.
