Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Serie A match.
A disappointing campaign for both AC Milan and AC Monza will come to a close with their head-to-head encounter on Saturday evening. AC Milan are set to miss out on European competition next season, and although they have yet to appoint a new head coach, the squad will be aiming to finish on a high with a convincing win.
AC Milan
Before their 3:1 defeat at the Stadio Olimpico against AS Roma, AC Milan had secured three solid victories in Serie A, netting seven goals across matches against Venezia (2:0), Genoa (2:1), and Bologna (3:1). In 2025, AC Milan generated 36.15 xG across 20 matches — the highest statistic in the league during that stretch. Four of their last five home games have produced more than 2.5 goals.
AC Monza
AC Monza’s defensive frailties, particularly away from home, have contributed to a number of high-scoring contests — ten of their away fixtures have featured at least three goals. A 2:1 win over Udinese Calcio in the penultimate round provided a minor lift, but AC Monza remain 13 points adrift of safety heading into the final matchday. They have conceded a league-high 67 goals and will be without six players due to injury for this concluding fixture.
AC Milan vs AC Monza Prediction
Both squads are expected to give minutes to younger players on Saturday and may look to play with attacking freedom. A lively match is expected at San Siro, and Total Over 3 appears a strong selection.
