Deportivo La Coruña have had a terrible start to the season, with only one win in the first six rounds. Can they finally find their game or are they set for another defeat?

Albacete Balompié have had a fairly decent start, securing three wins in six matches, although the fixture list hasn’t been the toughest. Even in two of their three losses, Albacete managed to take 16 and 18 shots on the opponent’s goal. They try to play brightly, as evidenced by their emphatic victory over Racing Ferrol in the last round (4:1). This time they face an opponent of a similar level (19th place), so another confident victory can be expected. Of course, Albacete Balompié have had issues with converting their chances, only managing to score more than one goal once this season, but it’s clear their attacking play is improving.
Deportivo La Coruña
As we mentioned, Deportivo’s start to the season has been disastrous. Just one win in six games, only three goals scored, and eight conceded. The team rightfully sits in the relegation zone, and it’s hard to find any bright spots in their play at the moment. In their last two matches, they didn’t score at all, despite taking a total of 31 shots with eight on target, revealing major problems with their finishing.
Albacete Balompié vs Deportivo La Coruña Prediction
The last time these teams met was in 2022, when Albacete Balompié triumphed in overtime to secure promotion to the Segunda División. Now, the difference in class between the teams is much greater, so the hosts should not have any problems in this game.
