Chelsea edged past Tottenham Hotspur with a 1:0 win in their London derby, a result that also marked Cole Palmer’s first goal involvement in exactly two months. But does that make Chelsea clear favourites for their next outing?

Not entirely. While the odds slightly favour a Chelsea victory over Brentford, the difference is minimal — both sides are considered to have a relatively even chance. Despite playing at home, Brentford are viewed as less likely winners, mainly due to recent struggles in attack. Earlier in the season, the squad produced several high-scoring home wins, including a 5:3 result against Wolverhampton Wanderers and a 4:2 victory over Newcastle United. However, they suffered a 2:1 defeat away to Newcastle United earlier this week.
