England
England have already qualified for the 2024 UEFA Euro. However, they need to take one more point to top the group. It’s just a formal thing for them. Gareth Southgate is likely to make some changes in the squad. Players who need to prove themselves won’t be merciful to Malta. Their opponents never managed to make an attempt on goal in the first game. They didn’t have corner kicks and had only 39% of possession.
Malta
This is a team of a different level. Malta have lost all 7 games, they’re at the bottom of their group. In 5 of these 7 matches, Malta fell apart in the first half, conceding at least 2 goals. Even in their home game versus North Macedonia. In the last game against England Malta were losing 0:3 after just a half an hour of the game.
