Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Turkish Süper Lig match.
With the title already out of reach, Fenerbahçe’s motivation going into the final round of the season is highly questionable. The Istanbul giants, who spent most of the campaign chasing glory, now face a low-pressure home fixture against mid-table Konyaspor.
Fenerbahçe
How else can you explain a 2:4 loss to relegation-bound Hatayspor? Just a few weeks after dismantling top-five Istanbul Başakşehir (4:1), Fenerbahçe looked flat and disinterested. Even at Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium, they’ve only managed two wins in their last five league home games — an underwhelming record for a title-chasing side now stuck in second place.
Konyaspor
Konyaspor have quietly put together a strong finish to the season, especially at home, where they’ve won six of their last seven. While their away form isn’t as strong, they’ve remained competitive. In all ten matches across league and cup since the start of 2025, they’ve never lost by more than a single goal. That includes four matches where they avoided defeat altogether.
Fenerbahçe vs Konyaspor Prediction
Fenerbahçe may still have the quality to grind out a win, but with nothing left to fight for and patchy home form, they’re unlikely to push themselves to the limit. Konyaspor, with steady away performances and defensive discipline, should be able to keep things tight.
