The clubs are exhibiting vastly different results in the group stage of the Europa Conference League. Fiorentina sit in sixth place, while LASK are down at 32nd. A single match from the Italian side could easily outscore all the goals scored by the Austrians so far. Expect an undeniable victory for the home side in this fixture.
Fiorentina
Fiorentina have not only been one of the standout teams in the Europa Conference League but have also made waves across Europe. They currently hold fourth place in Serie A, and this is even without having completed their match against Inter Milan. They trail the league leaders by just three points. Domestically, they score an average of two goals per match, while in international competitions, the average rises to 2.5. The only blip Fiorentina have faced in recent months was a defeat in the third round of the Conference League against Cypriot side APOEL (1:2). Excluding this match, they have been unbeaten in 14 games, a streak that started on 22nd September with a victory over Lazio (2:1).
LASK Linz
LASK, on the other hand, are unlikely to experience such success any time soon. They have faced three consecutive defeats recently, both in Europe (1:2 against Borac) and in the Austrian Bundesliga (1:3 against Austria Vienna and 1:2 against Wolfsberg), which explains their low position: seventh in Austria.

Fiorentina’s strong run is unlikely to be halted by a mid-table Austrian side. While LASK Linz have shown they are capable of scoring, their defence has been faltering significantly, making the ideal option a bet on total over 2.5 and a win for the hosts.
