France easily beat Canada (3-0) without much effort. They were better and took advantage of Canada's mistakes. They have lots of star players in every position, so they can beat teams like Canada easily because of their skills.
Slovenia
Slovenia surprised everyone in the group stage by beating a tough Serbian team (3-0). Alen Pajenk played amazingly in the back row with three aces and the opposite spiker, Tonček Štern, scored 25 points (efficiency 55.88%).
Prediction
One problem with France is that they sometimes underestimate their opponents when they're already doing well in the tournament. They might not play their best, because they’re already in play-off. Slovenia, on the other hand, is playing really well and excited to play a tough game against a strong team like France.
