However, the away leg saw them relinquish a two-goal lead, even with a numerical advantage from the 17th minute. With the Armenian domestic season yet to resume, the squad may still be lacking in match sharpness.
Ferencváros
In contrast, Ferencváros have not featured in a competitive fixture since late May. However, Ferencváros organised a solid pre-season programme and came through three friendlies with positive results. Against Karlsruher SC (2:1), the coaching staff opted for a near full-strength lineup. Ferencváros has been active in the transfer market, bringing in new wingers Jonathan Levi и Callum O'Dowda, while retaining key players Mohammed Abu Fani и Kristoffer Zachariassen.
