Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Champions League qualifying match.
This two-legged Champions League qualifier could prove decisive for Noah. Despite being significantly outmatched in terms of individual talent, the team will look to make the most of their home advantage and take any opportunity that comes their way.
FC Noah
After a one-and-a-half-month hiatus from competitive football, FC Noah put in a rather unconvincing display against FK Budućnost Podgorica, scraping through with a 3:2 aggregate win. In Yerevan, the team made the most of their chances, converting three shots on target into goals. However, the away leg saw them relinquish a two-goal lead, even with a numerical advantage from the 17th minute. With the Armenian domestic season yet to resume, the squad may still be lacking in match sharpness.
Ferencváros
In contrast, Ferencváros have not featured in a competitive fixture since late May. However, Ferencváros organised a solid pre-season programme and came through three friendlies with positive results. Against Karlsruher SC (2:1), the coaching staff opted for a near full-strength lineup. Ferencváros has been active in the transfer market, bringing in new wingers Jonathan Levi и Callum O'Dowda, while retaining key players Mohammed Abu Fani и Kristoffer Zachariassen.
FC Noah vs Ferencváros Prediction
Over the course of those three friendlies, Ferencváros found the net seven times and conceded just once. Even with home support, Noah are unlikely to carry a first-leg advantage into the second leg.
