Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Champions League match.
A dominant away win for PSG (3:0) in Brest has all but sealed their place in the next round. With a comfortable three-goal cushion, Luis Enrique is expected to rotate his squad, knowing that progression is almost guaranteed.
Paris Saint-Germain
The French champions have been in imperious form in 2025, winning 11 of their last 12 matches. Since their draw with Reims (1:1), Paris Saint-Germain have recorded six consecutive wins with a goal difference of 19:4. In the first leg, they generated 2.72 xG, with Ousmane Dembélé scoring twice—his recent performances have put him in the lead in the race for the Ballon d'Or. On Saturday against Toulouse (1:0), PSG controlled possession (2.44–0.88 in xG) but allowed their opponents chances in the absence of Marquinhos Corrêa.
Stade Brestois
Despite the heavy first-leg defeat, Stade Brestois remain a free-scoring side. Since 29 January, five of their last six matches have produced 3+ goals. On Friday, they nearly lost to newly promoted Auxerre (2:2) but created more chances (2.13–1.15 in xG). With nothing to lose, Brest will attack aggressively, hoping for an improbable comeback.
Paris Saint-Germain vs Stade Brestois Prediction
Paris Saint-Germain have already beaten Stade Brestois three times since September, scoring at least three goals in each meeting. Given both teams’ attacking intent, we expect an open game with plenty of chances.
