At the start of the season Rangers isn’t playing their best, but they still managed a draw away against Dynamo (1:1). At home, the Scottish are expected to win, the top players should put all their efforts in this crucial time.
Rangers
In Lublin, Rangers created many chances (12-9 on shots, 7-5 shots on target), so Cyriel Dessers’s late goal was fair. At the same time, good attackers (Robbie Fraser, Rabbi Matondo, Steven Davis, and Danilo Pereira ) didn’t play at all, but they could cause problems for the opponent’s defence. On Saturday, they beat Motherwell (2:1) in the Scottish league and the new player Abdallah Sima scored the winning goal.
Dynamo Kyiv
Dynamo had the same result as Rangers at the start of their national championship, playing with Veres Rivne the day earlier (2:1). In this game, Mykola Shaparenko scored 3+1. The midfielder is in good form after Euro-2024, but the Scottish defenders will focus on him and try to stop. In Glasgow, Dynamo might struggle to score as Vladyslav Vanat and Vladyslav Supryaga won’t play well.
