Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Bundesliga match.
Bayern Munich have a relatively favourable schedule for the remainder of the campaign, with Stuttgart being one of their few remaining top-level opponents. On the other hand, Stuttgart have struggled to focus on the Bundesliga following their Champions League elimination, managing just one win in their last five league matches.
Stuttgart
In their last outing against Hoffenheim (1:1), Stuttgart let a late lead slip despite a dominant xG advantage (2.99 vs 1.00). It’s likely that they will continue to struggle in picking up points, with Enzo Millot, Ermedin Demirović, and Fabian Rieder losing their starting spots due to poor form. So far in 2025, Stuttgart have underperformed in front of goal, scoring just 12 times despite generating 14.53 xG, resulting in only 13 points from eight matches.
Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich, by contrast, have taken control of the title race since January, with their goalless draw against Bayer Leverkusen further strengthening their grip on top spot. Last weekend, the Bavarians demolished Eintracht Frankfurt (4:0) even without Harry Kane, highlighting their attacking dominance (4.01 vs 0.53 in xG). Bayern Munich have been formidable away from home, collecting 24 points from 11 matches—the best away record in the Bundesliga.
Stuttgart vs Bayern Munich Prediction
Back in October, Stuttgart held their own for the first half against Bayern, only to collapse after the break as Harry Kane netted a hat-trick alongside a goal from Kingsley Coman (0:4). Even without two key players, Bayern remain far more consistent than their opponents, and the league leaders should start the round with another victory.
