Colombia
Colombia only managed to beat Venezuela (1:0) in a home game of the first round. The last three games ended in a draw. They didn’t beat Uruguay (2:2). It proves that Colombia aren’t stronger than Uruguay, even playing at home. Colombia also ended in draw matches against Chile (0:0) and Ecuador (0:0).
Brazil
Brazil have already lost enough points. They lost the game of the last round versus Uruguay (0:2) and unexpectedly ended a match versus Venezuela in a draw (1:1) a round before. I believe that it means that now Brazil will be highly motivated as 7 points after 4 rounds are definitely not what this national team wants.
Colombia vs Brazil prediction
Colombia are barely stronger than Uruguay in their home games. Nevertheless, bookmakers offer odds of around 49/20 on Colombia to win, while the odds were around 69/20 on Uruguay to win their home match against Brazil. Probably, injuries of Allison, Neymar and Casemiro mattered a month ago. But there’s definitely an equal substitution for at least Neymar and Casemiro in the current squad of Brazil.
I think that betting on Brazil to win is the best option.
