Visually, Fire Portals is a dark grid set against a blue-purple gradient background, with every inch of space devoted to movement. Special Symbols
- Wild (Fire Portal): Appears after any winning combination if the cluster did not already contain a Wild. It starts with a x1 multiplier, and with every new win it participates in, the multiplier increases by +1 while the Wild moves one adjacent position within the original cluster area. If 2 or more Wilds are part of the same win, they merge, and their multipliers are multiplied together. The maximum possible multiplier is x2500.
- Scatter (Book): Appears on all reels and triggers the Free Spins feature.

Our Verdict
Fire Portals comes across as generous — Wilds accumulate, multipliers grow, and clusters trigger roughly every 4–5 spins. It often forms cascading chains, with wins coming not only from low-paying symbols but from top ones as well. The balance does go down, though, without feeling like a freefall — more of a slow, steady drain.
Wilds regularly offer hope: once, a multiplier reached x97, resulting in a x100 win, fully covering all previous losses. But moments like that are rare. In most cases, the cascade ends just as things start to get exciting — especially during free spins.
Scatters appear, but erratically — usually one at a time, sometimes two. Throughout testing, no bonus landed in the base game. Switching to Ante Bet changed nothing except the cost — still no bonus.
Buying the bonus brings more action. On the first try (4 Scatters, 12 free spins), multipliers grew steadily, peaking at x405, but never triggered a win — the round ended with a total of x212. Other attempts returned between a quarter and half of the purchase price; only once did the slot give a small profit. The potential is clear, but it feels almost cruel — always just within reach, yet never fully realised.
