Wild Swarm: Design and Theme
🖼️ Graphics
Wild Swarm takes place in a forest: trees, bushes, and a hive hanging right above the grid. The grid is framed in wood, and the reels feature bees, honey pots, flowers and letter symbols that look as if carved from planks. When bonus symbols land, the screen comes to life — bees fly into the hive, honey splashes over the reels. The atmosphere is more cartoony than realistic: this isn’t a scary forest, but rather a fairytale one with a touch of humour.
🎶 Sound
The audio background is quiet and forest-like — leaves rustle somewhere, bees buzz. Spins come with characteristic reel clicks, and the main accents appear in the bonuses: the hive cracks, Sticky Wilds land with a sticky squelch. The music is unobtrusive and easily fades into the background, while the sound effects maintain tension, especially when the hive is close to exploding.

Special Symbols
- Wild: There are two types. Wild Honey is the standard wild with a honeycomb design. It substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter (Hive) and Chest. It can appear both in the base game and bonuses. Sticky Wild appears only in Free Games and Swarm Mode — it sticks to its position and remains until the end of the bonus. Wild payouts: 2 symbols = x0.5, 3 symbols = x2, 4 symbols = x10, 5 symbols = x30.
- Scatter (Hive): landing 3, 4 or 5 triggers 7, 10 or 15 free spins. If Free Games are awarded through the Pick Feature, you may receive 6–12 free spins.
- Chest: triggers the Pick Feature, where different prizes are hidden — from stake multipliers to bonus modes.
- Collectable Bee: appears only in the base game, flies into the hive and leaves a wild behind. As the hive level increases, the chance of triggering Swarm Mode rises.
Bonus Game
- Free Games (free spins): triggered via scatters or the Pick Feature. The key mechanic is Sticky Wilds — once wilds land, they remain in place until the bonus ends. They gradually fill the reels and increase the chance of high-value lines.
- Pick Feature (Chest): the chest can land anywhere and offers a choice of hidden prizes. You can hit a multiplier up to x250 the stake or instantly trigger Free Games, Swarm Boost or Swarm Mode. During free spins and Swarm Mode, the chest can add +1, +2 or +5 spins. Additional wild upgrades are possible: they may expand to cover the entire reel or shift leftwards.
- Collectable Bees (bees & hive levels): each time a bee appears in the base game, it flies into the hive and increases its level. The current level is shown above the reels — there are five levels in total. The higher the level, the greater the chance that the hive will “explode” on the next bee and trigger Swarm Mode. Progress carries over from spin to spin, meaning the hive can be built gradually even during long, quiet stretches.
- Swarm Mode: the slot’s main feature, triggered by the hive explosion or as a reward from the chest. You receive 10 free spins with several Sticky Wilds already on the grid. All new Sticky Wilds stay until the end of the round. After it ends, a new hive is created — not from level zero, but from a higher level, so the next explosion can happen faster.
RTP, Volatility, Max Win
Wild Swarm has several RTP versions: the most common are 97.03% and 94.67%, depending on the casino and configuration. Volatility is medium–high. The maximum win recorded by the provider is x3,069. Reaching this limit cuts the bonus round short: the game simply ends the active feature and pays out the win.
Our Verdict
Wild Swarm is a slot that knows how to keep you on edge. The base game can feel drawn out: bees keep collecting while the hive refuses to explode. But this very anticipation creates the sense that something exciting could happen at any moment. Swarm Mode really can deliver a strong run when the sticky wilds begin to cover the grid, and each additional chest adds even more fuel. It’s ideal for players who enjoy “accumulation” mechanics and are ready to wait for the outcome.
