Adam Williams presents his prediction for the English Open qualifiers match.
Luca Brecel
We definitely don't like Luca Brecel's game over the last two years. After winning the World Championship, the Belgian Bullet failed to impress in the following season as the world champion. With numerous first-round losses, very few ranking points, and two non-ranking finals—both lost to Ronnie O'Sullivan. Has anything changed this season? No, three matches ended in three losses, and Brecel didn't show up for the fourth match at all.
Anthony Hamilton
Anthony Hamilton continues to fight to keep his place on the tour. Anthony lost two qualifying matches, narrowly defeated Reanne Evans 5-4, and beat Louis Heathcote 4-2 in the English Open qualifying round. Anthony makes a few breaks, and most of the frames with his participation turn into tactical battles on colour balls.
Luca Brecel vs Anthony Hamilton Prediction
This will be Hamilton's advantage in the match against Brecel. Luca really doesn't like opponents who disrupt his rhythm and make him play a lot of safe snooker. Of course, Brecel can play positional snooker, which he has proven many times, but we think Hamilton is a very dangerous opponent for Brecel. You can bet on Hamilton to win with a handicap of 1.5 frames, but we recommend a bet on the total over 5.5 frames.
