Against Espanyol (0:0), they couldn't break down the opposition (3.59 xG), and their best chance fell to Rodrigo Riquelme, who failed to convert a penalty. On the other hand, against a solid Girona, Atlético deservedly took all three points—proving that their leaders step up in important matches.
In April, Atlético Madrid beat Athletic Bilbao (3:1). Atlético Madrid have a stronger squad than the Basque side, so betting on them to at least not lose makes a zero-handicap odds very appealing.
