Despite parting ways with their leading defender Alessandro Buongiorno, Torino have started the new season with a five-game unbeaten streak. The away match against Hellas Verona is unlikely to cause them many problems — Paolo Vanoli has adapted to his squad, with which the former Spartak Moscow coach can achieve success.
Hellas Verona's instability hampers their ability to organise their defence, and the thrashing of Napoli (3:0) in the first round of Serie A was merely a stroke of luck.
