Adam Williams presents his prediction for the Saudi Arabia Masters snooker match.
Kyren Wilson
Kyren Wilson had a family holiday after winning the Grand Prix. In Riyadh, he beat Liu Hongyu 5:3 in his first match at the Saudi Arabia Masters. Liu Hongyu may be highly ranked, but that is only thanks to last year's British Open semi-final. In this season Liu has been putting up a fight against high-ranked opponents, but still losing. He also lost to Kyren, and in this match Wilson made breaks of 118 and 85.
Jimmy Robertson
Jimmy Robertson had a good start to the season. After the short-format Championship League, Jimmy played 10 matches and won 8 of them. Robertson lost to Ma Hailong 2:4 in the British Open qualifiers and to Kyren Wilson 4:5 in the Grand Prix tournament, where Wilson won. In Riyadh, Jimmy confidently beat Rory Thor 5:0, Fan Zhengyi 4:3 and John Higgins 5:2.
Kyren Wilson - Jimmy Robertson Prediction
I like Jimmy Robertson's game, and he is capable of giving Kyren a fight again, because just recently in a head-to-head match it came down to the deciding frame. Jimmy is good at breakbuilding, he consistently makes big breaks, but theres’a question - will Kyren be able to recover after a short rest and enter the tournament practice mode? I think Jimmy has a good chance of winning, but I will offer to play a handicap of +2.5 frames on Robertson.
