Danish tennis player Holger Rune, currently ranked 14th in the world, has advanced to the third round of the ATP-1000 tournament taking place in Shanghai, China. In the second round, he secured a victory over Italy's Matteo Berrettini, who is ranked 44th, with a score of 4-6, 6-4, 6-3.
The match lasted 2 hours and 1 minute. During this time, Rune hit seven aces, committed no double faults, and converted two of three break points. Berrettini, on his part, recorded 16 aces, made one double fault, and managed to convert one of his three break points.
In the next round of the Shanghai Masters, Holger Rune will face Czech player Jiří Lehečka.
