World number one, Polish tennis player Iga Świątek, has announced the end of her collaboration with her personal coach Tomasz Wiktorowski.

«Coach, thank you. I wish you all the best. I understand your desire to take a break after these three intense years of work and travel, to spend time with your loved ones. I hope you find what you need.

Following such significant changes in my team, I will take a couple of weeks for myself and then proceed to work with a new coach. Discussions have commenced with specialists from abroad (outside of Poland), so I am ready to take the next step in my career. I will inform everyone once I've made my decision,» Świątek wrote on social media.

Świątek and Wiktorowski had been working together since December 2021.

The 23-year-old Świątek has won five Grand Slam titles and holds 22 WTA singles titles.
