Zverev blames umpires for his Grand Slam final losses

During a heated exchange with the umpire in his third-round match at the Shanghai Masters, German tennis player Alexander Zverev expressed frustration over his lack of Grand Slam titles, attributing his defeats to officiating errors.

“Why should I care about playing 89 matches a year? It’s just impossible. Every Grand Slam final I’ve lost has been because of you guys. It’s your mistakes. I work like an animal, and you make so many errors,” Punto de Break quotes Zverev as saying.

Despite his frustrations, Zverev won his third-round match against Dutch player Tallon Griekspoor and advanced to the fourth round, where he will face Belgian David Goffin.
