Zverev defeated by world No. 66 at Shanghai Masters

World No. 3 Alexander Zverev of Germany has been knocked out of the hard-court ATP Masters tournament in Shanghai, China. 

In the fourth round, the German tennis player lost to Belgium's David Goffin, ranked 66th in the ATP rankings, with a score of 4-6, 5-7.

The match lasted 1 hour and 57 minutes. Goffin served three aces, converted four out of eleven break points, and made two double faults. Zverev, on the other hand, recorded eight aces, converted two of his seven break-point opportunities, and committed two double faults.

In the tournament's quarter-finals, David Goffin will face American Taylor Fritz. The Shanghai Masters is set to conclude on October 13, with a prize fund of just under $9 million.
