Generally, there are two types of accumulator bonuses; a profit boost or a refund if one leg of your accumulator bet lets you down. In this section, we discuss accumulator bonuses in more detail.

How Do Acca Bonuses Work?

Usually, a bettor must place a qualifying bet with a max qualifying bet stake and minimum odds, in order to be eligible for any type of acca bonus.

With a profit boost accumulator bonus, sometimes known as an Acca Boost, the winnings from the qualifying bet are usually multiplied by a given amount, with that amount often increasing as the number of selections placed in that initial bet increase. The multiplied winnings are then paid into the bettor's cash balance upon bet settlement and can be withdrawn.

When it comes to bet stake refunds, also known as 'acca insurance', if the qualifying bet is successful, the winnings from the accumulator bet will be paid into the bettor's cash balance. However, if the qualifying accumulator bet loses by one selection, bettors are given a refund of their bet wager, often in the form of a Free bet. This Free bet usually has a maximum bonus amount and the Free bet will also have certain wagering requirements - usually requiring bettors to use the Free bet for a further accumulator bet.

How Big Are The Profit Boosts?

Accumulator bonus offers vary between betting sites, but generally, the riskier the bet, the higher the potential reward. Accumulator bets become more risky (i.e. less likely to win), as further selections are added to the betslip. Examples of How Acca Bonuses Work

An example of how an Acca price boost bonus works would be if I place four bets on the football games being played at the weekend, and for this example, all of the odds are evens (Decimal 2). This means that if I bet £10 on it then under normal circumstances I would win:

2 x 2 x 2 x 2 = £160 (So £150 profit)

If I placed this bet at 10bet, then the boost would kick in. For four legs it is a 10% increase in winnings, so I would receive £150 x 1.1 = £165 profit, and an extra £15.
