Cannonier suffers second consecutive defeat in UFC
On the night of August 25th, UFC on ESPN 62 took place in Las Vegas, USA.
In the main event, Jared Cannonier, the fifth-ranked fighter in the middleweight division, faced Brazilian competitor Caio Borralho. The fight lasted all five rounds and ended with Borralho claiming victory via unanimous decision.
This marks Cannonier's second defeat in a row. The American fighter was knocked out in June by French contender Nassourdine Imavov. Over his mixed martial arts career, the 40-year-old has amassed 17 wins and eight losses.
Caio Borralho, on the other hand, now boasts 17 victories with one loss in MMA, along with one no-contest fight on his record.
