Militão may miss Real Madrid's opening Champions League match due to injury

Real Madrid defender Éder Militão may miss the team's first group stage match in the Champions League due to an injury.

According to Marca, the 26-year-old Brazilian did not train with the full group today and instead worked out individually. Midfielders Jude Bellingham and Aurélien Tchouaméni participated in the team training session.

Éder Militão sustained a muscle injury during a training session with the Brazilian national team. Despite this, he played the full match against Real Sociedad on Saturday, September 14, helping his team secure a 2-0 victory in the fifth round of La Liga.

Real Madrid will kick off their Champions League campaign tomorrow, September 17, with a home game against Stuttgart. The match is scheduled to start at 20:00 BST.

This season, Éder Militão has provided one assist in six matches for the Madrid club.
