37-year-old Begović returns to Everton
Everton has announced the return of goalkeeper Asmir Begović.
The 37-year-old Bosnian has joined the Toffees as a free agent, signing a one-year contract.
“We obviously know Asmir very well from his previous time with us at the Club, and his long standing as an excellent goalkeeper was underlined by him being first-choice at QPR last season.
Begović previously played for Everton from 2021 to 2023. Last season, the goalkeeper was with Queens Park Rangers in the Championship, where he made 46 appearances, keeping 13 clean sheets while conceding 60 goals.
The player is currently valued at €300,000 by Transfermarkt.
