Al-Ahli Offers Vinicius a Contract Worth 1 Billion Euros

Saudi Arabia's Al-Ahli has made an offer to Real Madrid for their winger, Vinicius Junior.

It recently emerged that a delegation acting on behalf of the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Sports had contacted the 24-year-old Brazilian. The country's authorities aim to make Vinicius the face of their football league ahead of the upcoming 2034 World Cup.

According to Globo, negotiations between the parties have been ongoing for a month. The Saudis have proposed a contract under which Vinicius would receive more than 1 billion euros over five years. It is noted that the buyout clause in the Brazilian's contract with Real Madrid also stands at 1 billion euros.

Moreover, if Vinicius agrees to the move to Al-Ahli, he will become the highest-paid player in the Saudi league.
