Ancelotti Declares Real Madrid's Transfer Window Closed

Real Madrid's head coach Carlo Ancelotti has announced that the club is no longer planning to sign any players during this summer transfer window.

"Our market is closed. I will not be requesting any further signings from the management," journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano quotes Ancelotti on social media.

This summer, Real Madrid added forwards Endrick and Kylian Mbappe to their squad. Departing the Madrid club in this transfer window were Rafa Marin, Juanmi Latasa, Joselu, Nacho Fernandez, Toni Kroos and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

On August 18, Real Madrid will face Mallorca in their opening match of La Liga.
