Ancelotti on victory over Betis: "Real Madrid goes into the break with good feelings"

Real Madrid's head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, commented on the team's victory over Betis in the fourth round of La Liga.

Yesterday, Los Blancos defeated the Andalusians 2-0 thanks to a brace from Kylian Mbappé.

"We have the desire, enthusiasm, and motivation to achieve more. We played a good match, we looked more cohesive. We go into the break with good feelings.

Did Mbappé manage to relieve the pressure on himself? You should ask him that. We have never put pressure on him regarding goals. Vinicius let him take the penalty; it’s important for him to score, but we value team effort more, and it was better than in the last match.

Vinicius was very altruistic, giving Mbappé the chance to take the penalty. They have a good relationship," Ancelotti told Marca.

Real Madrid is currently second in the La Liga table with eight points, while Betis sits in 17th place with two points.

In the next round, which will take place after the international break, Real Madrid will play away against Real Sociedad. The match is scheduled for September 15th.
