Barcelona and Manchester City agree Gundogan transfer — Romano
Barcelona and Manchester City have signed all the necessary documents for the transfer of the Catalan club's midfielder Ilkay Gundogan to the English club, insider Fabrizio Romano reports on his social networks.
It is reported that the German midfielder will refuse payments from Barca in order to move to City as a free agent.
Ilkay Gundogan moved to Barcelona in the summer of 2023 as a free agent after seven years at Manchester City. As part of the English club, the midfielder won the English championship five times.
Earlier in his professional career, the German, who is a product of Bochum, played for such teams as Nuremberg and Borussia Dortmund. As part of the German national team, the footballer became a bronze medalist at Euro 2012.
