Barcelona intend to extend Yamal's contract until 2030 next summer

Barcelona plan to extend the contract of forward Lamine Yamal next summer. 

According to Marca, the Catalan club aims to sign a new deal with the Spanish winger until the summer of 2030 on significantly improved terms after he turns 18. The new contract is expected to reflect the player's value and performance.

The Blaugrana are also ready to increase Yamal's salary during the current season. This decision is supported by both the club's management and the player's agent, Jorge Mendes. According to Capology, the 17-year-old forward currently earns €1.6 million per year before bonuses and taxes.

Barcelona also intend to secure new contracts with other academy graduates, including Gavi, Pau Cubarsi, and Fermin Lopez, as they are considered crucial to the club's future.

This season, Lamine Yamal has scored three goals and provided four assists in five matches for Barcelona. The winger's current contract with the Catalan club runs until the summer of 2026. Transfermarkt values the player at €120 million.
