Bayern defender suffers meniscus injury in training
Bayern Munich defender Sacha Boey has sustained a knee injury during training.
According to the Munich club’s press office, medical examinations revealed that the 24-year-old Frenchman has a torn meniscus in his left knee. Boey has already undergone surgery and will be sidelined for several weeks due to the injury.
Sacha Boey joined Bayern Munich from Galatasaray in January for €30 million. This season, the defender has made two appearances for the Bavarians, providing one assist.
The Frenchman’s contract with the German club extends until the summer of 2028.
