Bayern Munich President: "The club stands for a cosmopolitan, tolerant society"
Bayern Munich's president Herbert Hainer, along with honorary president Uli Hoeness, has signed a petition against far-right extremism, antisemitism, and ***** .
"FC Bayern stands for a cosmopolitan, tolerant society — there is no place for any form of discrimination here. Setting an example is one thing, but the most important thing is to stand firm on your beliefs," Hainer was quoted as saying by the club's press service.
The Munich club currently sits at the top of the Bundesliga table. In the 4th round of fixtures, Bayern will face Werder Bremen.
