"Belgium stopped playing after 25 minutes," says Tedesco after defeat to France

Belgium's head coach, Domenico Tedesco, commented on the defeat to France (0:2) in the second-round match of Group 2 of the UEFA Nations League A.

"After 25 minutes, we stopped playing. Naturally, we feel disappointed. We had three moments, one of which was a clear goal-scoring opportunity, but it's a problem we have been facing for a long time. At the beginning of the match, we had high intensity, but then we lost a bit of an advantage. As for France, you can see the key players they have. The midfielders are good at interceptions and quick transitions. Today, their level of play was higher," quoted Tedesco's words by the official UEFA website.

The next match for Didier Deschamps' team will be against Israel on October 10. Belgium will face Italy on the same day.
