Bellingham: «We were magnificent in the second half against Atalanta»
Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has commented on the team's triumph over Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup.
In their recent match, the «Los Blancos» secured a 2-0 victory against the Bergamaschi. Bellingham provided the assist for Kylian Mbappé, who scored the first goal in his debut for the Spanish club. The English midfielder was named the Player of the Match.
The coach trusts me to get the feel for positions. When it's necessary, I can go higher and, when I need to, come and help in build-up. Hopefully I'll always be involved in helping the team win and that's the most important thing for me,» Bellingham stated, according to UEFA’s press service.
This victory marked a record sixth UEFA Super Cup title for Real Madrid, while Barcelona and AC Milan have each won the trophy five times.
