Bournemouth set to pay nearly €50 million for Porto forward Evanilson

Bournemouth is reportedly close to acquiring Porto forward Evanilson.

According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the Cherries have agreed to a transfer deal with the Portuguese club for the 24-year-old Brazilian, valued at €47 million. Additionally, the Dragons will receive 10% of any future sale of the forward. Evanilson is expected to undergo a medical examination in the coming days to finalize the transfer.

Evanilson is set to replace Dominic Solanke, who was transferred to Tottenham for €64 million earlier.

Evanilson joined Porto from Tombense in 2020 for €8.8 million. In the last season, the forward scored 25 goals and provided seven assists across 42 matches for the Dragons.

His contract with the Portuguese club runs until the summer of 2027, and Transfermarkt values the player at €35 million.
